Yep, six 292-ers reside in the lower level (also known as the basement) of our office on Lake, and it’s the only basement with a sidewalk view. When Pam, Mark and Tom were designing their new digs, they wisely thought to cut a large opening in the first floor to let natural light into the basement, and to make those of us who sit there feel, well, like we’re upstairs. Granted, we can’t get a glimpse of the trucks or cars that we hear zooming by, but we can wave to folks walking close to our floor-to-ceiling glass facade (a fancy word for the ‘face’ of the building). “Hey, there are people down there.” It’s not uncommon for little kids to wave and if we see them, we wave back.
