Bowling Green Training & Community Center

The Bowling Green Training and Community Center is a collaboration between the City of Bowling Green, the Ohio Air National Guard, and Wood County’s Woodlane Mental Retardation and Developmentally Disabled Agency. Each agency leveraged funds to create a facility that provides a new home for the National Guard, and that supports recreational and social programs for the citizens of Bowling Green and Special Olympics.

The center is comprised of gymnasiums, fitness areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, childcare, locker rooms, a kitchen, and training facilities for the National Guard. The childcare space, known as the “Kids Clubhouse,” includes a window-on-wildlife component, which provides children with environmental education programs.
